Scary! How can a software do that?

I always knew the company installed the employee monitoring software “iMonitor EAM” on every one's computer. But I never took it seriously. I thought it was like a decoration, the leadership of the company used it to urge us to work hard, and let us know we’d better not use the company computer to do private affairs because they’re monitoring everything.

I had heard that this software can monitor all our computer activities, but I kept taking a chance. In my deep heart, I felt no one would find if I secretly watched a movie or chatted on line for a little while. After all,  there are so many people in the company, how could the leadership always stare at me? I was so self-righteous.

Aw,we caught you doing private affairs during working hours.

Until one day, I was watching a movie on my computer during working hours, suddenly the page was shut down. While I was feeling a little perplexed, my manager appeared, he asked me to come to his office. He told me that a few days ago, he had already known I watched movies on the computer though iMonitor EAM. He even showed me the screenshots and the network traffic I used was much more than the others’. That’s why he monitored my computer desktop at real time. And when he saw me watching movies, he remotely controlled my computer and shut down the website. 

Gosh, iMonitor EAM can not only monitor our computer activities, but also remotely control our desktop! Since then, I no longer dare to do private affairs during working hours.
